 The Bee-u-ti-ful Beta Chapter...
The Beta Chapter of Gamma Gamma Chi Sorority, Inc. serves the DC Metro Area. This area encompasses Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia.
We were founded on July 22, 2006, when seven women were inducted. The Founding Members are:
#1 - Narmin Anwar g.k.a. Ace of Hearts
#2 - Tasmim Anwar g.k.a. 2 Bee Clear
#3 - Eman Mahmoud g.k.a. Brown Sugar
#4 - Kesha Abdul-Mateen g.k.a. The 411
#5 - Sumaiyah Yates g.k.a. Dymonz
#6 - Malikah Adilah g.k.a. The Thinker
#7 - Heba Mahmoud g.k.a. Royal Rhymes
These founding members are collectively known as 7 World W.O.N.D.E.R.S. - Women On the Next Direction, Excelling towards Righteousness and Success.
On April 7, 2007, the Chapter added an additional member. Vernetta Yasmin Marquis was inducted into the Chapter from our Alpha Class. Although this class started out with more than 1 member, Yasmin completed the process alone. She has chosen to name her line Solo At The End. Yasmin is Gamma known as ChocolateEve.
Our most recent increase in membership came on July 22, 2007, when the Beta Class was inducted into the Chapter. The Beta Class has the honor of sharing its class name with the Chapter's name. As such, the Chapter felt it would only be a more memorable occasion for these ladies to be inducted on the same date, one year later, that the Chapter was originally founded. The members of the Beta Class are:

The sorors of the Beta Class are collectively known as Khamzah X.
